“ THE QUADRALATERALS”

Procedure:

1. Tape two strips of paper to form a simple loop. There should be no twists in the paper.

2. Tape the two loops together at right angles, similar to a figure eight. Be sure to place tape along all four edges where the loops join.

3. Predict what will happen in the data table. You will cut along the middle of the paper, all the way around the loop.

4. Make the cuts. Be sure to cut both loops.

5. Describe the result of the cuts in the data table.
